April 17th and 18th PHS will administer the College Board's SAT and PSAT to 11th, 10th, and 9th graders. JUNIORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO LIST UP TO FOUR POST-HIGH SCHOOL COLLEGE OR CAREER OPTIONS ON THE SAT.
Seniors will not be in attendance the 17th or 18th at PHS. They can use these days to job shadow, apply for jobs, volunteer, go on college visits, complete college applications, complete the FAFSA, etc. KACC seniors are required to attend KACC on April 17th and 18th.
April
17th: Juniors will be in attendance in-person for the SAT. Fresh/Soph will complete assignments posted in the Google Classroom. The test will end at approximately 12:00pm and students will be able to leave the building after testing is complete. Students with extended time will be done at approximately 1:30. Bus service will be available for students who do not drive or have a ride at 2:57. Juniors are excused from attending KACC on April 17th.
April 18th: Fresh/Soph will be in attendance in-person for the PSAT. Juniors will complete assignments posted in the Google Classroom. The test will end at approximately 11:00am. Students with extended time will be dismissed at approximately 12:15. Juniors and seniors are required to attend KACC. Bus service will be available for students who do not drive or have a ride at 2:57.
